Ah, the curse of being American.
Y'see, here in Australia, we don't, as a rule discriminate against Catholics.
We lump you all in with the other Christians.
Egalitarian bunch, we are.

I'm not one to agree with your views, but I count myself a decent enough person to say I'm sorry for your troubles.

Take this as fact, if, or more likely, when we disagree, it is not because you're Catholic, it's because we see the world in different ways.
You might be 'on the wrong team' ( ;P ) so to speak, but that doesn't lessen the fact that you're still a good person.
Don't let the small minded hypocrites who want to cause another schism get you down. They're not worth it.

Cheers. Keep your chin up, you'll be 'right.

As a Catholic myself, I tend to let the criticism slide off me. Turn the other cheek. I can see the good charitable works the church is doing throughout the world, others only see the bad stuff, and there is evil within our church, like there is in other churches, but there is a lot of good, also.

Looks like it worked to me. I was able to both answer and give you a star.

Hope it made your day.
