About anything at all!
When you are about to open your mouth and say something do you consider if you know enough to comment on the situation?

When you don't feel inspired to speak. Inspiration should always be shared i think even if you don't know anything about the/a topic. You feel inspired to say something either to help someone's thought process along or to help you understand.

May you experience love and peace.

Sometimes I know enough to speak on the matter but its not the appropriate time for the person to hear it. Other times I don't know all the facts but I have enough to render a valid guess(just be sure and clarify that it IS an opinion). And sometimes its the right time and the right place.

If I feel uncomfortable about what I am about to say, I like to say a quick prayer for guidance and then just let Him lead the way. When I run out of words, the message must have been delivered.

I know what you mean. So what I do in that circumstance is to say, "Please correct me if I am wrong, but I was thinking that we might consider this or this about that? - End your statement with an expression of a question. (You know like when those obnoxious folks make an egocentric statement on this chat group and then say, "do you agree with me, huh?" - Just kidding; sorry about that. mY point is the opposite of those ego trip approaches. But, I just couldn't pass that up.)

Back on point: If you are really interested in the question or topic of discussion, and you show it, you do know enough to speak about it. Why? Cause all in attendence will detect and appreciate your enthusiasm and personal input (if it has a harmonious nature).

Have you ever noticed that it is not always the smartest or the strongest that succeed in life? Who then? Those who are enthusiastic about anything are the ones who succeed.

smiles --

In short: If you are kind hearted and enthusiastic about the subject, you know enough to voice your opinion; and it will be welcomed by those who are worth your company.

I guess ... lol in far more cases and situations than we want or expect

if in doubt stay quiet

if you dont have a good and large enough collection of facts about anything, dont have an opinion

if you have an opinion, dont try to force it on others

the tongue is the worst enemy of peace and love, the biggest and most hurtful weapon we have ...

lol, forget martial arts

God Bless you

I pay attention to what solid information I have received by hearing it verbally or have read in written form before I make a strong stand of expressing. My ' knowing I have enough to speak ' on any important topic is spoken from the foundation of what was shared to me by the person I'd be communicating with.

If I was doubted...then the basis of my expressed thoughts could be researched to be verified by what was out there for others to hear and read of also.

If the back-up information was not to be found...then I, as any person, would be speaking from the basis of thought out before hand communication. Basically...think before you express or speak concept. And be prepared to support up a shared thought.

When the Holy Spirit yanks my chain, so to speak, and I get a strong feeling that I should keep my big mouth shut.

This happens on a regular basis. :-)

If you don't know what to say it mean the conversation did not spark something like oh i know this in your brain. So your brain shuts up and listens. If you know the materiall and its correct you can ask who ever is contemplating on the materia.

Not before I open my mouth ;)))
But that seems to be a common enough malady. Verbal diarrhea, that is!

I try not to say anything unless I have a good understanding of the subject.
Or I ask questions that pertain to it.
