depends ow often u get cramp really if its jus occasionaly jus rub/massage area2get ur circulation goin.If u get cramp alot it can b lack of salt in the body(threw perspiring etc)so drink water.I used2get cramp really really bad sumtimz my legs wud seize up so i started takin a magnesium supplement daily+iv gon frm getin cramp daily2goin4a whole mth wiout cramp.Try magnesium it works wondas!

Cramp is muscle spasm,so nothing you rub in will penetrate or help. The rubbing process and stretching the muscle may help relieve the spasm. If this is a recurrent problem, or you are getting night cramps go see your GP in case there is a treatable cause.
