I always thought this was a problem just with me until I heard them make fun of it on Family Guy. What's the deal with that little squiggly line you see in you eye sometimes?

They are called floaters. They are totally harmless, and almost everyone has them.
The only time for concern is if you suddenly get a whole lot of them, especially if you've recently hit your head. In that case, it is a warning sign of retinal detachment.
But just a few (2-3) in each eye is normal. They are made of dead tissue/debris that is floating in the liquid part of the eye.

something has detatched itself on the inside of your eye=it is called a fkoater=you should go see an eye
dr to have it checked out =good luck

They're called floaters. I forgot why you get them though. Something with the aquaeous humor.. yadda yadda.
