Someone else has. Apparently he is still alive and not too well. Well, who would be at 2000 years old or thereabouts. They are keeping his location a secret for fear of a jihad.
They are feeding him on doughnuts (the ones with chocolate on top and custard in the middle) and gatorade. He is putting on weight fast.
Therefore, don't worry.
He has a message for all the religious folk ...

hes got a bit of lint and a few sticky skittles stuck to him but he'll be good as new after he goes through the spinscycle
