God's plans are not always mans plans... He gave everyone a free-choice. Adam & Eve... They had a choice, and eventually chose sin. The beggar on the street... God has a plan for him, if He accepts Jesus as his Savior.
God didn't create you, as a minority, to be hated. People are the one's that hate you, not God. He loves you, especially if you have Him in your heart.
All those kids in Uganda, Somalia... God didn't cause the mess that allows them to be starving. Somalia, for one, as a country, doesn't have a firm leadership to help support it's people. It's been overrun by Islamic warlords since the early 90's. That's why the people that live in America (and similiar nations) should be glad we live in a free democracy.
Please... Don't blame God for the mess that us humans create. And if you ask, why doesn't God do something about all this? All I can ask is that you believe in God, receive Him as your Saviour, and wait... I don't believe you'll have to wait TOO much longer to see what God has in-store for us all, in Heaven (and then, for the world).

You sound really sincere, and this isn't really the place for sincere questions as you'll get a lot of rude answers.
These are big questions people have been asking for millenia. My personal belief is that the world has had evil introduced to it, and thigs don't always go well. There is a verse in the Bible, though, that says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. " I think of the Bible story of Joseph. His brothers were annoyed with him, so they sold him into slavery. He had many more setbacks, but eventually he saved an entire nation and his family from starvation during a famine. His brothers were horrified by what they'd done, but Joseph said, "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good."
Anyway at this point I'd like to offer to continue this discussion via email. Immature people can be insulting when they listen in on discussions they don't understand.

Greetings, Our prayer is to get the want of God carried out in our lives, the relatives, the church and the international. god has revealed each little thing in the scripture in the process the prophets (Amos.3:7). as a result we would desire to continuously pray that god's plans be carried out and fulfilled. Our prayers carry God's plan in implementation. If we don't pray, god's plan/will would stay unfulfilled (Mat.6:10). God does purely people who're good for us (Rom.8:28 / Isa.55:8-9). God has a time to artwork (Jn.2:4 / Acts.15:17-18 / Eccl.3:a million,11). faith isn't against reason yet previous reason

I don't believe that there is a god, and hence there is no plan. But that aside, there is the nature of free will to consider. Many people (myself included) believe we have complete free will; most others believe we have only the illusion of free will. Either way, we can only do what we choose to do, what we think is right. Does it really matter, therefore, whether it's scripted in advance to suit some cosmological purpose, or if we're all just coincidentally wandering aimlessly? If I could find out a definite factual answer to this question, I still would not change anything about my life.

God has a plan for each person, and he does everything he can to work that plan for us. But he has also given us "free will", meaning the ability to reject that plan. It is because people have rejected that plan that children are starving in Uganda.
There is more than ennough food in the world - even in Uganda - to feed them. But because people are more concerned about their own power, or their own politics, they are not distributing the food, ane children starve. It is not God's will or his plan.
Will God find a way to ultimately reach his goal? Yes. But it will involve a lot more work, suffering, deaths, crime, sin, destruction, etc. then if people would follow and obey his plan. Any time he has to go to "Plan B", because people refuse to do "Plan A", suffering results. In Romans, Paul talks about God as having a "good", an "acceptable" and a "perfect" plan for each person life. We decide which happens to us and our world.
A lot of people on this forum critizise God because of the idea of a "hell" where people go for their sins. Yet these are the same people who are causing the starvation of children in Uganda for their own power. Rather then blame God for these actions, place the blame where it belongs, on sin.
God has given his own life, on the cross, to provide a cure for the sin problem. All he needs is your life in return, surrendered to his Plan A, and more of the world's suffering and sin will be relieved. Who knows how God plans to use you to redeem his world.
I hope you will make that surrender to Him and His will today.

"doesnt that mean that our fates are sealed regardless of what we do?"
It might seem like that but in reality you have to consider this verse of Scripture and then the following explanation.
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
God has his "perfect" will and "best" plan for our lives but He doesn't take away our humanity or our right to make choices in our daily lives. So, say a person didn't answer God's call to serve Him early in their life and instead went into business chasing after money or lived a party lifestyle with their pagan friends.
They would have missed out on God's "best" plan for their life but God doesn't give up on them. He will continue to seek to get their attention and to lead them to the path that He wants them to walk on. He will use the past events in a person's life to contribute in some manner to how He plans on using them from now on.
So you might ask "Well, if God's all knowing and He knew a person was going to play around for 15 or 20 years before they turned to Him and submitted their live to His leading then doesn't that mean that He really didn't have a plan for them before that time?".
That's one of those mysteries where on the one hand God does know all things since He exists out of time but the way we understand it, it's like God has at all times a "best" plan for each individual but as they go through life making choices that are outside of his will, that plan is constantly being reworked so that at the proper time it will take all things together and work them for good and it won't be the same plan as the one that would have unfolded if they had turned to Him earlier on.

I truly believe that God loves and cares for us. Jesus said that God knows the number of hairs on our heads. He also said that he takes care of the little sparrows, so he will certainly look out for us. But, he also gave us free will. The right to make decisions for ourselves. Because of that, we sometime make decisions that are bad for us. Worse yet, we make decisions that are bad for others.
Example: If I choose drugs, alcohol, or just waste my time screwing around...instead of getting a good education.....can I blame God if my life turns out poorly?
If I choose to be hateful towards people of other religions and/or colors.....and I have a chance to help a poor child.....but don't because of my hatred.....is it God's fault that society is further harmed?
We all have many decisions to make, from what we put into our bodies to who we befriend and help. I believe that when we make the right decisions....that is when God is at work in this world.

Think of it more as an Idea for us. Like are parents have an idea of what they would like us to do as we grow up. \
No ones fate is sealed. Our lives are in our hands. Yes, god is all knowing but we still are in control of what we do. He may just know the out come if we do certain things.

You are truly focused only on the present. On the opposite side of the spectrum, what about the wealthy man. He lives in luxury, has all his needs met, yet of what value is it when the bell tolls for him? Are you expecting God to create heaven on earth? This life is but a blink in time compared to eternity. God does design a path for each of us to walk, which we do, and within that path He makes Himself known for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. I am thankful for your question, for you appear to be seeking Him while on your path. Continue to pursue this thinking, and look at His great book, particularly the Book of Romans.

He has a plan, but you don't have to follow it. Some were put on this earth to sing and dance. Some were born to clean toilets. But all have a place in God's grand scheme.
