As being an adult with braces I don't think they look silly at all. It is a temporary condition and I won't have to wear them forever. I know that my teeth will be beautiful and straight. I get carded now, more than ever, because people think I am younger than I am! If you are thinking of getting braces...go for it! Good Luck.

Not necessarily. Even if it does, it will make you look a whole lot better after that small temporary period. Go for it.

No I don't because I know that they are doing it to correct a problem with their teeth.
