The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

If you are referring to God as the Absolute, s/he doesn't, is beyound personality. But to be more approachable by human beings s/he can adopt a form, which may vary according to time, history and religion. Such a form is always a human projection in one way, but also a means to communicate with the unknowable

Yes He does! And for a God who never sleeps and know how many hairs I have on my head and counts every grain of sand, he sure does love us and bathes us in his Love, Hope, Grace, Mercy, and his complete Forgiveness. He has a personal relationship with each and every one of us. I love the mystical relationship he allows me to have with Him because He shows me the signs and markers that He is for real and He tugs at my heart strings. I could go on and on, I love Him so much.
What a GREAT question!
May God tug at your heart strings today!
God bless you!

Yes, he must have had a personality and emotions to give us each one. I don't actually agree with the images being created about God by many people as angry and quick to punish (Hell). I've always thought of God as more laid back, happy, and fun. Just my 2 cents.

i think of the two an smart dressmaker designed and created God's thoughts, or an already latest regulation of physics dictated precisely what thoughts he had. Or...there is the possibility he created his very own thoughts, and is purely offended by using fact he instructed himself to experience offended at specific issues, and basically loves beings, by using fact earlier he made an excutive decision to experience love in the direction of them, all very unnatural.

You cannot associate humans emotions and qualities to something that is not human, even non-existent. That is like giving the sun emotions and a personality.

Yep, and I think a very good sense of humor. Haven't you ever been to a Family Reunion? :)

Besides, how can you love without emotion?

He has, because most time he is not always happy when people are committing one sin or the other but he is happy seeing us doing good.

"I love you Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship you, oh my soul rejoice.
Take joy my King
In what you hear
May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear"

Song that is deep seated in my head that I learned in church. If there's some truth to this song, God must have emotions!
