Yes (regarding death of Christ).
God seems to think it is worth it. He has a much longer term perspective than we do. I think the point is that those He lets into heaven will be appreciative, devoted, and loyal.

Christ was killed. And so many other martyrs have died too. He has just been accorded a higher status than most. Unfortunately, his death has proved largely irrelevant in the general scheme of things. The world still suffers, despite his suffering and he no more sets an example than Mandela or King or a great many other noble, but rare, human-beings. The only real effect of Christ's sacrifice is a cultural one. Because, the world is as bad now as it has always been.

According to all four Gospels, Jesus died before late afternoon at Calvary, or Golgotha. The wealthy Judean Joseph of Arimathea, according to Mark and Luke a member of the Sanhedrin, received Pilate's permission to take possession of Jesus' body, placing it in a tomb.According to John, Joseph was joined in burying Jesus by Nicodemus, who appears in other parts of John's gospel (John 19:38–42). The three Synoptic Gospels tell of the darkening of the sky from twelve until three that afternoon; Matthew also mentions an earthquake (Matthew 27:51).

Christ did not die on the Cross - Jesus did.
It was worth it and not worth it.
It was worth it as it gave the world a testimony as to how cruel and disgraceful humans can be to each other (the crucifixion)
It was not worth it, as over 1.2billion people prefer to worship the "messenger", instead of understanding the message, and the context of what Jesus spoke

Jesus died so that all who believe in him might have life and life eternally. Yes his death was real, the fact that his body was not found meant he died. Before he died, he predicted all what is happening today, read the new testament. Do not be swayed but seek the truth and you will find it. Jesus reveals himself to those who seek him and gives answers to a lot of questions. All these things must happen so that scripture and GODs word is proved true.

He was killed at the will of God as per the gospels go.
He was made to believed to think that he is the son of God and his Father will save him at any cost. But the story was otherwise.
He dreaded the cruel fate imposed on him and he cried "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning?" ( Psalms 22:1-2, NIV)
He died a painful and gruesome death.
Is there any sense in killing an innocent man in the name of sin to be committed by others?
Should such a treachery to be adored.
If the world, the church at least, lerned any thing from this murder there wouldnt have been crusades, holocausts, witch hunts, genocides and thousands of other sins committed in the name of God.

Yes, I believe it was.
And yes, no matter what we see happening in the world ( as if that was a gauge to judge what Christ did ), God can see that there is faith in the world. No matter what anyone who doubts Him might say, there is nothing in the world that surprises Him, he told us what to expect. And there you go!
God is expecting the troubles in the world, and has told us what must happen, especially in the Middle East.

Yes very real, and He died because of the world and the state it is in, He provided the solution to the problems of the world, but many refuse to accept this, hence the continued turmoil.

As real as it gets. He did it because of what you see in the world all around you. The most amazing thing about it is He did it for all of mankind, but He loves You so much He would have done it just for you alone, so you could be reconciled with Him forever.
