Jesus told us,
Matthew 24:26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

And that aligns with so many verses:
14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Zechariah 14:3 Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

It will be a victorious and violent day of the Lord. In Isaiah 61 it's called the Day of Vengeance.

My own experience is that God is always with us. We may like to forget that God is omniscient and omnipresent (omni means always, so omniscient is always knowing, and omnipresent is always here) because some of the things we do are against what we know to be the right thing to do. When you think "I should go visit my neighbor because he hasn't been out in the yard yet this spring", it may be God suggesting to you that the old fella has fallen and someone needs to check on him. God's presence surrounds us. God uses humans (and often animals because they listen) to provide the answers to prayers we need. I don't think that God is often visible to humans, but I do think that God is often present in our lives.

perhaps by asking the 100% Omnipontent, Omnipresent and Omiscient God Himself/Herself/Itself/THATself to give the answer. Since God is Everywhere and Omnipotent, the Almighty Loving Lord shall certainly answer the sincere question of one of His children

If he or comes to us?

You might recognize him when he smacks you cross the face for not writing complete sentences that make sense.

God is not outside but inside your mind. So try searching him in yourself. When you are at peace you can be sure that God is with you. When your mind is agitated just close your eyes and wait till your breathing gets normal.

You will know Him by his light, love, hope, grace, mercy and His forgiveness.
I suggest you get into a good Bible-based church and seek out people who are in your age group. Join them as often as you can and ask alot of question. You are obviously hungry spiritually. This will be a defining moment in your life. Make it count.
I will pray for you and your spiritual growth. Go for it!

In Christ,

John

Well, I guess if we were made in his image, he'll be the guy that you could easily mistake for any human being that's ever lived.
