It is good because by dying and raising on the 3rd day, Jesus made a way to God to those who believed Him. Thats why the message that Jesus Christ came to world to save us was called "Good News".
I was born to Christian parents, but I sometimes cudn't believe all of it was true, because I dint have any proof that God existed. But whenever in terrible situations I call to God and I get an answer, I tot it was co-incidence. And I had many friends who were hindus mainly, other christians who just believed cause they had christian parents.
But lately I received the Holy Spirit Jesus said 2000 years back that He will send on all who believe Him and I received Him, I was so amazed and surprised. I feel Him physically, God is there, no doubt now. And I know that when one really calls to God,he can get the real peace and love he really needs from the creator Himself.

Its the day on which Jesus Christ made a Great Sacrifice on the cross to redeem me.
He gave His own Life and shed His own blood as a ransom for me and he delivered me from the power of darkness & sin and death.
Jesus Christ rose again from the dead on the Sunday called as Easter.
So Good Friday is not a bad friday on which Jesus Christ died for ever.
But a day on which He showed His love for you and me.

Good Friday is called good because on this day Jesus was crucified for our sins. World: "Holy Friday" for Latin nations, Slavs and Hungarians call it "Great Friday," in Germany it is "Friday of Mourning," and in Norway, it is "Long Friday." Some view the term "Good Friday" (used in English and Dutch) as a corruption of the term "God's Friday."

Peace and every blessing

The "good" in Good Friday is thought to have originally been "Godes" making it Godes Friday which translates into God's Friday. That makes a little more sense, huh? Hope this helps!

Because Jesus' sacrifice resulted in the utter defeat of the forces of evil, and that is GOOD!

What isn't it a good thing when God commits murder in order to be able to forgive people?

After all it was his plan so it had to happen.

What good is it being God if you can't get your blood lust satisfied?
