Loving someone, or anything for that matter, enables us to develop our capacity for, and understanding of, divine love. Divine love is what our existence is all about. So any type of love whatsoever provides an opportunity to practice divine love.

The love that we feel, real love, is the pure part of God in us.
We love and are loved because it is built in us to do so.
There are a few people who cannot feel love or have it, but that is very rare.
If a child is left alone always when young, it will not ever be able to love in the way most people know it. So the child will not be able to relate well or function well in society.
With love, we grow, learn, feel and prepare for the love we will have after earth.
Love is partly giving and partly receiving, and we need it to thrive. It comes in many forms and each heathy person needs to experience it in some form to stay healthy.
Yes love is satisfying. But it is more. When there is nothing left of a person, like if they have Alzheimer's and have lost their mind, still they seem to feel love.
It's a comfort, a gift, a joy and it is good.
And it's not reserved for people alone. There is love among animals too.
Love and enjoy your life.

No world is existing without love in one way or another. it is always necessary to love not only for your peraonnel satisfaction as well as others satisfaction too. There is no question rises that one can complete his desire without loving some one. This is like food for your stomach so as love for your life. Life doesn't mean this body roaming in this world. Life relates to soul within your body. Food can let your body to live but not the soul. So it is good that always love others even if they hate you. One day the world will be under you.

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection or profound oneness. Depending on context, love can have a wide variety of intended meanings. Romantic love is seen as a deep, ineffable feeling of intense and tender attraction shared in passionate or intimate attraction and intimate interpersonal and sexual relationships.Love can also be conceived of as Platonic love,religious love,familial love, and, more casually, great affection for anything considered strongly pleasurable, desirable, or preferred, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in the singular word love is often contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the concept's depth, versatility, and complexity.

In the material world there is no real love. The so-called love is only lust in the name of love. Real love can only exist between God and the living entities. So-called love in the material world is based on bodily sensual attraction which is temporary and source of suffering.
In the material world one can get a glimpse of love expressed by a mother for her children. The mother selflessly takes care of her children without expectation of anything in return.
Srila Krisnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami concludes in his Chaitanya Charitamrita, Adi-Lila 4.17, as follows,
"Therefore lust and love are quite different.
Lust is like dense darkness, but love is like the bright sun."

Who told you that one love for the desires only.They love to stay close and like to share every moments---sorrow and happiness with each other.Mostly they gets happiness with their presence.Without they feel like dying.So what is important?Its important to give happiness to ur God in you then all.No body cares what pain they are taking --rather trying to blame and make down and nervous.Very selfish they are.They never try to make unite the LOVE.Very sorry.

To truly love someone is good,we are supposed to love thy neighbor as thy self,that really depends on motive and your character,if we give conditionally than we missed the boat.When we are whole we attract that same wholeness,when we have sin we reap what we sow.

if youre doing it for yourself
its not love
love is selfless
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
