40 men wrote the Bible, but they were divinely inspired by God.
2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
2 Peter 1:21 - for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 - For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.
It is eternal: Psalm 119:89 - Forever, O LORD,
Your word is settled in heaven.
Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.”
Matthew 24:35 - Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
It is powerful - Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. That's why I read it.
Had it been only man-made, following it would never have changed my life from what I was to who I am today.

Even if you believe nothing in it is fact, it's an important work of literature important to the faith of millions of people around the world, and a critical tool if you ever wish to understand them or, say, have an intelligent conversation with them about it. Not only that, it's shaped countries, laws, and morals, and can help you understand the politics, issues, and cultures in the past, the present, and probably even the future.
Besides, every book you ever read was man made. So was every movie you watched, every game you played, and ever song you listened to. Being man-made doesn't disqualify something from being worthy of your time.

If it's man made, then who should read it? For who is it written for to read?
For your own information, it is not man made - it is an inspired word of God. God is its author and man does not have any wisdom to write what is in the Bible. Besides, all scripture is written by inspiration of God and the word of God never came by the will of man but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
God is the author of Scripture and man is just like a pen used to write. If you use a pen to write, does the pen get the praise and honor for what is written? I think not!

Whether or not you believe in God, whether or not the bible was written by the divinely inspired or a cult of conmen, it's impact on the world we live in is unavoidable. In the bible, the devil himself knew every word of scripture, and on a less supernatural note most athiests I've met are well versed in scripture. Just as Christians use the Bible to persuade people to their faith, it's just good sense to know it's words (and the words of any holy book, for that matter) to be able to argue for/defend your own beliefs when they are challenged.

Yes men made it, but God used men to make it. He used prophets and others' writings to form the bible. he made people preserve it so that later others will find it, and put it together to make his word. it seems impossible, but u must have faith in order to believe it all. and I have faith.

It is man made, but inspired by God.
If you think about it...you are "man made" too.
Should we not be listening to you?
I think that we should.
