lady:- in calling wise :-we preferred to a women, to give respect to them.
lady in meaning wise:- that women who act as a gentle lady, sit talking eat like a delicate thing. like man who act nice are called a gentleman.

every lady is a woman, but not every woman is a lady.

A woman ij just any female or a human being with only a vagina, so woman basically refers to gender only, Now a Lady is a woman who behaves in a cetain different way, that is good ettiquette, dresses formally and is well composed in the company of other people, usually a professional in terms of carreer

Nothing. A lady is an old fashioned term to describe a woman in a genteel way. Ladies are supposed to be less vulgar, better behaved, a better class of person. Or it could be a title - as in lady Diana Spencer.

woman is the appropriate word for a female adult. lady is a word that is supposed to mean an upper class woman, but because of people's idea of politeness, it is used instead of woman. Now, you should ask about "dame" that's a real tough one.
