Many Mayan, Toltec and other Native American settlements were found without any human remains. Entire cities, like Tikal in Guatemala, looked as if the people just zapped out.
If Native people of the Americas 'left' then we are in the tribulation? Wars, disease, false Gods, plagues - all since 1492. The Second coming will be starring a Mayan/Toltec/Indigenous Army to take on those who have destroyed the planet in under 1000 yrs. Repent.

In my opinion the Rapture has not happened yet. We could not be in the tribulation period. If you read the book of Revelation in the Bible you will see how terrible those days will be. It will be A LOT WORSE than today. I just thank God for his goodness and mercy! The church will not be here on earth during the Great Tribulation, it will be raptured before that. Thank God!

according to the Mayan calender doesn't the world end in 2012?
BTW wars, disease, false Gods, and plagues have been around way before 1492.

Nice theological smoothie you have there.
If an army of Mayans comes back claiming to be the true Christians from the true rapture, I'll show them some righteous wrath; kick their butt when they 'take us on' (they have clubs and arrows; I've got a rifle) and tell them to get their own religion. Christianity and the rapture belong to us Christians, thank you very much.

Disagree because, woman are still having babies, they would all be taken, along with little children, remember how Jesus warned of how bad it would be, for mothers who are left behind, because their babies would be taken, out of their wombs in and instant as well as those nursing on their milk, and little children so the best indication of the rapture, not happening yet are that babies and little children, are still among us,.. not to mention all of us Christians that love the lord, all still here for the time being, but you wont have this grace period forever, if your not saved, get saved..,

One I don't think these tribes were born again and two this isn't tribulation...not even close. You think it's bad now....this is nothing like it's gonna be. But good theory though!

I would think that a more logical explanation for a deserted city would be that its inhabitants packed up and left. But hey, if you want to believe instead that they were whisked away by God, that's your business.

disagree. a better more likely explanation is that the people in those mayan places died out or moved away.

There won't be enough of them to make a difference. The population was much lower back then.
