More than anything, I think this fight will be exciting just because opinions are so split on who will win, and a lot of people are just waiting to tell everyone else who picked the right guy to win.
As far as the fight itself, I'll agree that much of it will be a straight-up boxing match, but each of them will have to step it up at some point if they expect all the judges to see it out in their favor, so there'll be enough action in there for the most casual boxing fans.
Personally, though, I see Mayweather getting knocked down after the first few rounds. It may still go the distance, but all the specifics you can argue about with your friends beforehand will sure make it much more interesting. I know it will for me. (I just hope the guy I'm backing doesn't lose. ;-D )

I might be going out on a limb here, but I think it's gonna be a barn burner. I just don't think Floyd is gonna play it safe and go for a decision, I think he's gonna try and KO DeLa Hoya. If Mayweather slugs, it's DeLa Hoya's best chance at a solid counter punch, and really Oscar's only chance to beat Floyd. You will see a knockdown, and it will be early. After the explosives start, one or the other will go down, then, if it doesn't end right then and there, you might get a boring finish, but the start will not be boring.
Smitty is right and gets another thumbs up, this one does have the potential to be a great fight.

This will will be a great fight. If Mayweather dont run and he steps toe to toe, yes it will be. Mayweather gots the speed but not the power and DeLahoya gots the power and lightning hands. In the end Im going with Delahoya with the "W".

i agree about the 12 rounds and no knockdowns, but i think the only way we don't see anything exciting happen is if mayweather is in complete control of the bout...if that happens, then floyd will just fight his fight, which is just being pretty out there and dodging bullets...however, if the fight is as close as i expect it to be, then de la hoya will be able to hurt floyd a little bit and lead to more counter-punching and in turn more action

Mayweather will dominate most of the fight with Freddie Roach throwing in the towel sometime between the 7th and 9th rounds.

To Jon and employer, hate to be a buzzkill yet this text has no implications that Donaire is finding into this combat much less signing a freelance. the object is cleverly worded: "Gary Shaw, promoter of WBC/WBA great-flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan, says he has a signed contract from Darchinyan..." Sorry men. yet that doesn't recommend lots interior the employer worldwide and surely in boxing. What that proclaims is that Vic Darchinyan signed a freelance. he's promoted through Shaw. Darchinyan has consistently been incredibly vocal in his desire to rematch Nonito Donaire. So... Darchinyan signing a freelance for a combat he has consistently needed? No ask your self there. in case you study on, you will see that Donaire's human beings have not even commented in this yet much less to have signed something. the object cleverly makes use of comments from 2008 to make it look as though Nonito has made contemporary statements in regards to the combat and Gary Shaw. it incredibly is a chess flow through GS Productions. It places tension on Golden Boy through having the date and placement drafted and the contract already signed through their fighter. what's it? it incredibly is the in simple terms suitable calling out. although, in the previous he anticipate that GB and group Donaire will truthfully connect up, we could desire to additionally renowned that for years because of the fact the disenchanted, there has been little indication that they are wanting to rematch. unfortunately, I do wish they get it back on although because it incredibly is a combat authentic followers desire to work out.

honestly, after the last few matches that delahoya was in, it was boring.
no knock outs?
no killer hooks?
nothing, just flat out 12 rounds.
i dont look foward to it.
not anymore at least.
just another fight... almost amatuer match.
