Sam Harris clearly won this one. Warren's explanation for the existence of god: "I see god's fingerprints everywhere"...I don't know why some people even bother..

I am not bothering with it. Jon Meachum (managing editor) is slanted against Evangelical views because of his personaly stoic response to his own Roman Catholicism. This is why you wont find a robust intellectual representing sincere Christian faith among the chorus of secularists he has arranged. In this way it isn't really a debate but a forum.

I take that back: N.T. Wright, Richard Mauw, and George Weigel are very capable defenders of faith.

can u give the link and ill give the response. i haven't read newsweek in a while, they have it in the waiting room at my doctors office.
