You might receive a waiver. You should atleast attempt the GED before enlisting.

Good Luck

You may have to have ged equivalency but if they're hard-up enough a recruiter may pull some strings for you. I wouldn't be surprised if they helped you study.
It would be smarter to ask yourself why you want to join the infantry at 18? You know where you'll go. You may come back in a box, no photos allowed.

You should wait a couple of years till you're 20 or 22, and see if you still want to be an army grunt. There's a reason recruiters go after kids in their teens: older kids won't listen to them.

in case you're doing properly in school i'm going with to advise transforming into a member of a Jr.ROTC software. in case you go with to be on the "front strains" connect the army or Marines. I thank each branch has something for each guy or woman. i will basically talk on behalf of the Air rigidity. i might say its no longer too undesirable and defiantly sturdy for increasing your awareness of your interest. From what I even have seen the Air rigidity and army enable for greater time for practise. all of them pay the comparable base income yet once you bypass on a deliver the army you could earn greater specific accountability pay. Air rigidity has a tendency to have the greater ideal living lodging (housing). on account that I even have been interior the Air rigidity I even have lived in Japan 6 years and enjoyed it. i would be going to Germany on the top of next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and am looking forward to that. You sound like a sturdy youngster....sturdy luck!

They use to be able to sign you in under a waiver, but they stopped that from happening. You need to at least get a GED order to be excepted into any Branch of service. Your best bet is talk to a Recruiter, and they would and will help you take care of that and let you know every thing you need to do.

P.S. its infantry. Haha

Go to a community college & get a career in a few years, or waste 4 yrs in the military & make $30,000. Most low income jobs average $20,000yr, so is $30,000 worth it to you.
