For 99% of people, HIV shows up within six months, so you should both be safe. You should learn more about it, though, so you know if you were exposed or not. Having a baby doesn't lead to HIV unless you got a blood transfusion, and now all blood is tested for HIV and donors are questioned very closely.

My friend, yes it is possible. I think you know that it can takes years for HIV to become evident. You must have some reason for your fears. Possible exposure?
