both my kids had chicken pox at the same time. i just purchased quick cooking oats....and with about three inches of lukewarm tub water i put in half a large container of oatmeal...not only did it sooth their sores, they had a BLAST playing in it.

forget the aveeno...it's exspensive...just get some quaker oats instant.....as for making a bath with this, it's best to use less water....but, the reality is, it really doesn't matter if you use alot of water or a little.....i prefer the least amount of water....

you can also cook it on the stovetop (let cool) and rub it all over your body as a paste....paste up, wait 10 to 20 minutes and shower off with lukewarm water....
you will be amazed at how better you will feel.

(again forgo the aveeno)

after the chicken pox a good thing to use for oily skin is oatmeal.....sooo if you have any left, thats a plus too!

you need to take your hands and mix it about in the tub.it still seem thick but its just how it is,after you give the kids the bath still apply calamine lotion to them,to help with the itching.you can contact your local pharmacy/ and or dr to get there thoughts on it or call your local er for answers the er is 24/7 the can help you good luck.calling the er might give you quiker results cant put it writing some ers wont help unless you bring the person in

How much are you putting in? You will definitely notice a difference in texture to the water, but ....thick? I think you put in too much.
