No. Mystical systems are always superior to mainstream religions (read C. G. Jung to find out why). In Judaism it’s Kabbalah, in Christianity it’s Gnosticism, and in Islam it’s Sufi. The heretics are always way ahead of the mainstream, and the mainstream always actually originates from mystical systems.
