I fell hard on my knee 3 mos ago. Still have intense pain. Anyone experience anything similar?

Question

Have had no MRI, only Xrays. This is workers comp case. Last workers comp doctor said knee is fractured and recommends surgery to get out broken bone and cartilage.

He says recovery time is 2-3 days.

Anyway, pain is constant. Celebrexdoesn't help, neither does vicadin, nor ultracet.

Knee immobilizer does relieve some pain, but was told I don't need to wear it any longer.

Anyone have suggestions?

I was knocked to my knees (accidently) and both of my knee caps were fractured. This pain is not likely to go away without surgical intervention. Anyone who says 2-3 days is recovery time has never experienced this problem. Have you gone to an orthopedic doctor? I'd do that right away because you will likely not recover without help!

I think maybe your knee is broken or out of place. My recomendation is to go see an orthopedic doctor for a professional say in it. That way you'll know exactly what to do.

i have been having trouble with my ankles since i twisted it last. (4 weeks ago) i like to play with my dog hunter and i was running to hide from him to see if he can find me. once my foot hit the caret, it twisted and i fell, hard.
