First of all, time doesn't really exist or "go". It is a way for humans to place some sort of meaning on the change that occurs in our life. Secondly, your state of mind has a lot to do with how slow or fast time seems to pass.
I'll give you a perfect example. Have you ever been in a car accident? Hopefully not, but if you have (and I have) you experience the sensation that the accident took a long time, when in fact it was just seconds. That's because during certain extraordinary events, your brain processes information at a much more detailed rate. The nerves send signals every millisecond instead of every second. Therefore, what would normally take minutes to send that many signals, takes only two seconds. Your brain has sort of tricked you into thinking that the accident took longer than it really did by sending more signals due to its heightened awarness of a situation.
The same holds true for any situation in life. The more heightened your awareness (for instance whatever is making you sad / depressed) is causing signals to get sent more often. Therefore time seems to be crawling along because you think that several hours have passed, but its only been a few minutes due to the increased signals to your brain.
Go for a walk or jog, do some pushup or try to do something active. Your brain will release something called endorphins that will possibly help you feel better.
Whatever it is, I hope you don't stay sad / depressed much longer.

To idle get busy. There are lots of things u can do. Impress the time you have and enjoy life. Hear the birds sing. Smell the roses even if you buy them for yourself. You like that because are dwelling on things that make you fell this way. Stinky thinking.
Change that.

Jim Croce said...
There never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them!
So my suggestion to you is...
Find something to do BESIDES pout!
Go put weeds out of the yard. Talk to an
old lady! Throw a stick and get the dog to fetch!
Walk to town and back!
Read a book!
Write a poem!
Call a friend and tell them how great they are.

First of all, what is "TIME" and does it really pass? Secondly, What is saddness or depression? They're just a place where you are happier than the place you would be if things were worse off for you.... "Don't worry be Happy".

Because the reason you're bored and depressed is because you're not doing anything and you're (most likely) sitting thinking about your problems. It's vise versa when you're having fun. When you're having fun time goes by fast, because you're not thinking about anything but having fun. And you're being active. Not really thinking about the time.

It is always going by. 20 years seems like a blink of an eye sometimes. You just watch, you can't stop time if you try.

That's just the way that life is. When you have fun time flies by, but when you want something to end soon time slows down.

Maybe your mind is focused on going fast and when it's focused on going fast, the day goes by slow. That happens to me in one of my classes.
