The pet stores carry KMR milk replacement and kitten bottles for feeding. They are hard to suck through so make sure the hole is big enough or they won't be interested. The most important thing is to make sure you have a warm wet cloth to rub their tummys with after they eat. They cannot go to the bathroom themselves and need to be stimulated. They also need to be kept warm. Good luck with them. You are their momma now (unless she comes back) and they will depend on you for food and attention. They require a lot of time, but it is worth it, especially when you consider their other options. If you feel you can't do it, call an animal rescue (you can get the number for one from a vet or the Humane Society). A lot of times they have surrogate mothers available (mothers who have lost their kittens, but still have milk).

you need to get KMR (kitten milk replacement) and the proper bottle, you can buy it at a pet store. Than to make the hole in the nipple the right size, you stick like a paper clip through the top, than light it on fire (just the paper clip) than heat it up, blow it out and pull it back through the nipple. That will make the perfect size hole for the kittens. You will need to feed them every 2-4 hours... and then you also need to stimulate them to go to the bathroom.. by rubbing a warm kind of wet Cotton ball around the genital area and wait until they go to the bathroom. Normally mom cat would do this, but you are now her... here are some websites that may help!! I have fostered lots of unweaned kittens and it can be hard, but is very rewarding!

oh yea, you also need a heating pad, put the heating pad on low, then put like two to three layers of blankets over it, also make sure they have a place that they can move to if it is too hot.. Once there eyes open they are aprox 10-14 days old, then you can do feeding around every 3 hours. Once they are 4-5 weeks they will start eating soft kitten food and gradually go to eat regular dry kitten food. They will learn to start using the litter box around 3-4 weeks of age..

Regular human milk is bad for cats and could be deadly for kittens. It does not have the nutrients that a kitten needs. It can give them diarrhea and cause them to be malnutrition and dehydrated. Go to a pet store and buy "JUST BORN", with colostrum. It is the best brand and the colostrum is what is in mothers first milk to provide kittens with a good immune system. Get a few kitten bottles from the store. If you can get a 3cc syringe (no needle) somewhere that would be a good alternative to the bottle if you have trouble feeding him that way. Just get the tip of the syringe in his mouth and squirt a little formula into his mouth. He should get the idea and start sucking. Make sure you don't squeeze out to much for him. Good Luck

There is a liquid food made specially for feeding newborn kittens. Go to your pet store and ask them for it. You can also get a bottle with the right kind of nipple for kittens there.

I am not sure how often to feed, but directions should be on the container of kitten milk.

Most pet stores will carry a formulated milk for kittens and dogs they also sell bottles with different size nipples depending on the animal. You will need to poke a hole in the nipple to get it working. there are also instructions on the bottle package and on the formula cans also.

Call your veterinarian's office. There is a powdered "kitten" milk available and they should be able to instruct you on mixing it and using it. Cow's milk doesn't have the right nutrition they need and can give them diarrhea. They may even have the special type of bottle you would need to feed them.
