i find it amusing that our countries constitution says that we have freedom of religion...?

in fact, its part of the reason people came here in the first place. if this truely is the case, why is there SOOOO much religious intolerance around? little rediculous dont you think?

ok, so i spelled some words wrong...a word wrong...blah. and my point is its not just christians getting attacked, in fact in my experience its the non christains getting attacked. so it does go both ways.

my point is, this country gives us the freedom to practice whatever religon we choose...yet there is so much intolerance its almost not worth it...because no one really seems to respect the fact that i have the right to practice what i want, and therefore shouts why my relgion is wrong at me.

While a country may be tolerant it is subject to the tolerance of those residing within it are they not. One can mandate freedom but tolerance is from individuals and not the country.
