It is a undisputed scientific fact that DNA establishes unique personhood at the moment of conception. Abortion stops a beating heart.

Why should whether or not a child has the right to live be determined by their address and their inability to fight back against the cold blade of the abortionist?

This is not consistent with the fact that it becomes murder the minute that the child is born.

Evil people who believe that killing a child is ok because they claim that the world has too many children it it anyway never stop to ask why they believe they have a right to live but not anyone else.

Abortion stops a beating heart.

I totally agree with you. abortion is murder and def. should be made illegal.

answer to another answer on this topic:
babies in the womb DO experience pain when being aborted. a movie was made called The Silent Scream which shows an abortion being done and you can actually SEE the pain on that baby's face. That baby also SENSED danger and tried to move away but the doctor still performed the abortion and the baby died.

another example of life in the womb: Gianna Jessen's mom tried to abort her using a saline abortion (when salt is injected in the womb, it burn the baby and the baby swollows it and it burns the inside of the baby. a couple hours later, a dead baby is delivered.) Anyway. Gianna's birth mom had an abortion, trying to abort Gianna. Well a few hours after the abortion, Gianna came into this world ALIVE. THe abortion didn't work, thus proving that there WAS life in the womb.

Also the percentages of pregnancy from rape are so rare that it almost never happens.

I grew up with the understanding that anyone that is pregnant from intercourse that did not welcome the opportunity to start a new life, has already sinned (former Catholic), and thus the devil has entered (he will whenever he can) and is now also encouraging the abortion for reasons of convenience. It is for this reason that people who choose to have their babies and give them up for adoption (if inconvenience is an issue) deserve credit for saying no to satan and valuing the life that they have unintentionally created.
100% I agree that abortion is murder. It does not make sense that abortion is not considered murder to the law, but then again, possession is 9/10ths of the law. So we must pray not only for all people who are considering abortion, but also for doctors who perform them, as well as the law that allows them, to all see what they are really doing.
I have had friends go thru abortions and really, they are not the same afterwards. They feel like murderers, they dream often of the baby they never had, and they usually need counseling. It's traumatizing to them.....and if anyone is able to go thru an abortion without feeling the trauma, then it would be clear to see they have evil intentions in addition to selfishness. Thankfully, I have never come across this, but I'm sure it exists out there.

Do you spare a moment to think about the women who become pregnant through the vicious actions of another?

Do they not have the right to control what happens inside their own bodies? Why should they have to endure the pain of 9 months pregnancy and then birth, then the pain of giving up their child that is the product of rape.

They will forever remember that there is a child out in the world that is half of them, can you imagine how that would torment someone?

Or what if they keep the child? Everyday they will be reminded of how they were attacked and violated. And their owns lives are put on hold to raise a child they did not ask for.

Just think... if Hitler's mother had an abortion, then millions of Jews would not have been murdered.

I fully agree with you - its heartbreaking to think of what goes on. Mothers who abort suffer such awful guilt, some for the rest of their lives, but we don't hear about this too often. People make excuses, and make them sound valid, but there is no excuse for abortion - there are options. Many have ceased to listen to their conscience and choose to listen to 'what the norm' is!

Psalm 139 clearly shows us that every person conceived, there is a plan and purpose for that life.

After 6th week of conception, the fetus' nerve endings are formed and can then feel pain. Imagine....... can't go there!

"It is a undisputed scientific fact that DNA establishes unique person-hood at the moment of conception."

Actually it is not a fact. It is true that a unique "human" is created at conception, but it is the "person-hood" that is in question.

A fetus or embryo at less than 22 weeks can no more think nor feel than a red blood cell. Having an abortion before that time is no less moral than getting liposuction.

Also, the link to the following question and best answer show how abortion is the more humane option:

Also remember, about one half of all pregnancies end in a natural abortion (a miscarriage). If you believe abortions are against God's will, look at this and you will see that God is the most prolific abortionist of them all.

I agree with you on the fact a baby is a living person with a soul from the exact moment of conception. I would NEVER get an abortion for myself, but I have seen so many unwanted children suffer mental, physical, sexual abuse simply because of the fact that they were unwanted children. Older kids that get out of the situation too late to never be adopted into a loving family with a mom and dad to love them. This is why I feel they should keep it legal. I would much rather these baby's souls go back to heaven. Instead of suffering a lifetime of neglect and not being loved.

Why do some people think that they have a right to dictate what everyone else must believe? Your definition of 'child' is highly subjective. Do you realize that, or do you believe that you alone have the right to define words that we all use? A fetus that is aborted and a child once born are very different. You seem to be making the disgusting religious argument that once a woman gets pregnant she loses all rights that conflict with the rights you would grant to the unborn. As a fetus could not live without the body of the woman, some people believe that she too deserves some rights. Both of these, the woman and the fetus have deserves. To arbitrarily claim that in all cases the deserves of the unborn trump the deserves of the bearer is selfish, arrogant, and frankly quite disgusting.

I agree. In fact, just because we use the word "fetus" to describe an unborn baby after 8 weeks does not negate the fact that growing, living, breathing unborn human being has a bone structure, clear human features, and a beating heart. Statistics have shown that since abortion has been legalized in the US, less than 5% are done because of rape or a life threatening medical procedure... 95% of abortions are performed as some form of "birth control"!!! How sad!

Does it not break your heart? As years pass, there is getting to be such little guilt and shame for this crime. What is the difference between sexual abuse, physical abuse, or killing a baby? The first two, the baby lives and may have a chance in the world. The last one is murdered and we will never see. My heart aches for killed babies.

Many of those who are against abortion don’t mind sending soldiers to invade sovereign states to kill people there (including babies, already out of the womb). Also, our children are becoming fat like hippopotamuses and dying from all sorts of related diseases. I wish those hipocrites would protest against poison being legally sold as food.
