how long do i have to go without shoes?

two weeks or until it is completely healed. no socks either. you can only wear flip flops or some other shoe that doesn't touch the tattoo or constrict it in any way.

It doesn't hurt that bad, my foot tattoo is my most recent and it wasn't as bad as people amped it up to be. My tattoo artist advised me that if I could go without shoes, it would be best to do so as long as possible but there's just times you can't wear flip flops. A week after I got mine, I put on my walking shoes and went hiking, no problem. I always washed it and moisturized it when I got my shoes and socks off though.

You will probably have to go without shoes for about 2-3 weeks. Depending on where you get the tattoo you could probably wear flip flops.

My friend got a tattoo on her foot and it has got to be the most painful place to get a tattoo because it is right on the bone shes a dancer and wanted it sooooo bad it was a huge sacrifice for her!! get ready for the pain

Isn't this a question you'd ask the person doing the tattooing? Assuming that they're professionals. From my own personal experience, I'd say two months, but I'm not a professional tattoo artist so...

i kno this girl with a butterfly on the top of each foot it looked real nice but she go it in the spring or summertime so she really wasnt wearing sneakers mostly shoes

U dont' just wear loose shoes or slippers till it heals. maybe two to three weeks.

alli can say is ouch... and my step mom is a tatoest and you need to keep it coverd and most..
