I am getting my first tattoo soon...and I have no idea where to get it. I am a plus size gal...so where most girls would get their tattoos, it would not be flattering on me. Any ideas on where I could put it?

I have this same problem.. I'm a plus size girl too.. My first tattoo i got on the back of my neck b/c it won't really stretch out and its in a place where I can hide it. I also have on on my shoulder blade and in the middle of my back. Think of places that YOU would be comfortable with the tattoo... maybe even on the lower back would be great!

I got my first tattoo at the very young age of 16, it wasn't a small tattoo. It was a big black tribal sun on my chest. (bad place for a first tattoo) I'm pretty much covered now, I can't change the past but I sometimes wish I just got a really small tattoo where no one could see it instead. Don't get me wrong,
I love tattooes, but now that I am a mom, it's just different.
My tattooes are not so cool anymore.
Being a plus size gal I would stay away from any chest pieces.

i'm a plus-sized gal too! i think bold tattoos look great on women, especially plus-sized women, but most guys would surely disagree. i met a couple of large girls with sleeve tatoos, it was pretty amazing. i like the side of the lower back, but if you have a lot of stretch marks, you might not want to put it there...? i might suggest going to a tattooist and asking him/her where they think a tattoo would look good on you. start by asking people with tattoos you like where they got their tattoos, and if they can recommend a good artist.
ps not everyone likes tats--including employers!

The best place for us bigger girls to get a tattoo is wrists and ankles. Everyone tells bigger girls to get tattoo's on the breast area but IMO it looks tacky and cheap. If your planning on losing weight until you lose weight then get the tattoo. Top of the shoulder is good or back of the neck. My fav place is the wrist it's sweet, sexy,stunning and can be covered easy with a watch.

I have a tattoo on each foot and one on my shoulder blade. Those are places that can be shown when you want them to and can be hidden when you want as well. They are also flattering on anyone.

For bigger girls tattoos look great on like the upper part of the boob since ur boobs are most likely bigger
or the lower part of ur leg like ur calve/ankle
its gorgeouss

Somewhere on the back of your neck or upper back. When you want to display it you can put your hair in an updo. And when you don't, leave your hair down.

I don't understand this, your are getting your first tattoo, are you saying that there will be second and third and maybe one hundred?. I suggest that you use Henna, it's nice, safe and removable.
