Let's see... god could be unable to prevent bad things from happening, in which case he is not very god-like. Or he could be unwilling to prevent bad things, in which case he is extremely evil. Or perhaps there is no god.

All kids are innocent whether they die because of an earthquake or a cold. Did God ever promise that innocent people will never die, but in my religion innocent kids go straight to heaven.

I really do believe that before a soul enters a body, they are pre-destined on earth for a certain amount of time and purpose. Quite naturally if we loose someone to death, we look at it as a terrible thing, but in all actuality their time was "served" here on earth. We may see innocent victims die all the time and human nature takes it as a tragedy. But they only have gone back to where they truly belong.

hahaha. all those sermons. well then I think you are trying to make a point about your belief. first about starving then earthquakes. you are trying to insult by your questions. If you read the guide lines for this page it is against the rules. Keep it up and you will be reported. I won't do it. Would you let people believe what they want to and stop being "the voice of atheism" or what ever you believe. you don't want real answers and that is very immature. How ever if you do want them My email and the email of countless others are open. they will be more than happy to share your beliefs.

When tragedy occurs, it helps a great deal to understand the reason why we're on this earth. We came to earth to grow and develop and to learn the principles of happiness. This process requires conditions such that innocent people can die or suffer. Follow the link below if you'd like more information.

if you dont believe in God, there is no God to blame.
if you do believe in God, you know that sin entered into the world at the garden of Eden and tragedy of every kind with it brought to you by the god of this world, that is the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy.
sin not only effected man's nature. but also effected the planet in the techtonic plates and weather patterns.. so all sorts of trials and tribulations shall not stop until the second coming of Jesus and the beginning of the millennial reign.

Matthew 5:45
"That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."
God is there.
