I'm not trying to just be infalammatory or just be a jerk, so please don't take this that way. Is there really an emotional 'off switch' that women have? It seems that women can just turn off their emotions suddenly and act like nothing ever happened. I can't forget like that. I anything, I'm envious. Is this reality, or is there a composure gap between the genders?

Specifically, at a breakup. One minute everything is fine and life is bliss, the next minute you're this horrible bastard and you didn't do anything different.

If you ask me... it depends entirely on the time of the month. I am not kidding here. Hormones are wild and wacky inventions. They make us crazy. No argument there... we are crazy sometimes. The rest of the time, we try to be calm cool and collected.
(some of us that is)

Good luck understanding. I mean that in the nicest possible way.

I think it all depends on the issue we are talking about. I can make it seem like I turned it "off" but it's still inside me....During one week a month I can flip out and be completely normal the next week too. I just need more information to tell ya the deal.....I can't turn em off to everything...but certain things, I can let go.

Women bottle up their emotions. Men like to punch walls. There's no "off switch." It just goes into her arsenal for later or it bubbles over into tears.

i believe that women just maintain better composure over their feelings. When put in a situation a girl will act like she doesnt care or something doesnt bother her.But more then likely when alone its all that plays in her mind.

I've always thought that about guys.
It's like one minute their mad and the next day it's like "Whats up, babe?"

But now that wasn't your question.

No, not really. We hold grudges against people for years at a time, ect.

Sorry I couldn't give a better answer.
