First, Catholics are Christians so there is no need to separate them.
Since God, speaking through the inspired prophets authoring the books of the bible, declared homosexuality a sin, then it is a sin.
See: Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9,10; 1 Timothy 1:10.
Thus, homosexuality is just one of a litany of the decay of the perfect moral state found in original creation.
As all sinners, homosexuals can be true Christians. As far as God views sin, homosexuality is no greater or lesser than other sins. All sin is objectionable to God. Since homosexuality is often practiced openly ("in your face"), the reaction by some who have wandered off the “love thy neighbor” reservation is over the top. It may also be the case that anyone that seems to revel in their sin seems defiant or disingenuous, if they are a self-professed Christian. I believe that the true Christian homosexual struggles daily with their sinful nature.

Happiness to Christians is more than the needs of the flesh. Continue to pray for strength to resist your urges and strive to be obedient to the scriptures.

I am a Christian. I do not take offense to your personal choice to be a lesbian and a witch. Thank you for expressing your intention not to start anything. I may not agree with your lifestyle, but it is not my place to judge you. If I haven't judged you, I won't be offended by your personal choice. Now, if you came to me, knowing I am a Christian, and solicited my advice, chances are I would give you a more detailed opinion on why I believe what I believe. But ONLY if you solicited it. My niece is a lesbian. I love her with all my heart. She knows I don't believe homosexuality is God's best, but she also knows my love for her is unconditional. God loves ME just the way I am, why should I think He loves YOU any different?

Why would a Christian take offense to someone saying "I am a lesbian and a witch"? Swear words are unnecessary even as random symbols.
Anyhow, would it offend you if I asked what makes you a witch? Do you cast magic spells? Do you cook little children? If you do, please cast a spell on my apartment. I'd like it to be bigger and the walls to be slightly darker. Also, make me the most attractive person on the planet to females. Do this, and I will believe in witchcraft. Otherwise, for the sake of humanity, give it up. As far as lesbianism goes, I love lesbians more than everyone. Just send me some pictures. Thanks. By the way, I'm an atheist and more Christians are offended by atheism than lesbianism and witchcraft combined.

As a Catholic (who are Christians by the way) atheist I am not in the least offended by your being a lesbian. But magic no more exists than God so your being a witch is of course totally meaningless.

Don't flatter yourself. Christians take plenty of offense on a daily basis from the media and the liberal elite--your existence is hardly an offense. You're fully entitled to be whomever you want. You may be a wonderfully nice person. I sure as hell wouldn't want my daughters to be lesbian witches. I can say that much. I'm a conservative Christian--Presbyterian!--but I've got too many important things going on in life to worry about you.

I am Catholic and do not take offense to you being a witch.
I am not all that familiar with witch beliefs. My extremely limited impression of them is that they tend to regard objects found in nature (the sun for example) as a Higher Power.
Having said that, I think there is something to be said for a religion that honors the creator of such things as the sun.

No, I'm not offended by what you choose to be or believe in. I may not agree with you but you do not threaten my life in anyway. What does gripe me and will always draw a response is when you question how I feel and then add something like !@#$ing Bush. That tells me that you are as judgmental and as criticizing as those you accuse of judging and criticizing you.

No I do not take offense with what you said. You are who you are and I am who I am. But there are things mentioned in the Bible that are a sin in God's eyes. Like sorcery, soothsayers, and possibly homosexuality. I say possibly homosexuality because I am not sure about it being a sin as many people have said it is. God is the source of all love. He made us who we are and what we are. Why would he condemn someone for being the way they are? Homosexuals do not chose to be homosexual, they are BORN that way, it is a brain chemistry thing.

As long as you do not profess to be a Christian lesbian witch, I can not take offense to your poor life choices. I do not have the right to judge those outside of the church.

Makes not even the tiniest bit of difference to me what you proclaim to be in those categories. Now if you dedicated yourself to saving the environment, finding a cure for cancer, or making the world a better place in which to live, I would say "now that's a really great lady, and a wonderful example of the human race." Guess you can't wiggle your nose and accomplish any of that, huh?
