Dear gergiegirl,
Worship, as commonly practiced by many Christians amounts to little more than grovelling. It is done out of fear. You are a woman I assume by your avatar. If you have children then they probably worship you especially when they are very little.If you do not have children then I suggest you take steps to gain some. If you have a happy and succesful marriage your husband comes close to worshipping you and you in turn revere him.
If you want to be worshipped as a god then start a new religion. If it is succesful and you are its minister your followers will come to worship you as their human substitute and spokesperson for the god of that religion. You have then in a sense taken on the role of the god you require them to worship.
I hope this helps you understand the requirements for being worshipped. However I doubt that the "real God" wants to be worshipped (grovelled over), why should you?

Maybe nobody is worshipping you as a god, because you aren't one.
You may wish to think of the advantages of not being one.

What you don't have are prints of nails in your hands and feet, a crown of thorns, and a spear wound in your side -- to say nothing of not being the sinless Son of God.

2.not evil enough to burn people if they don't believe in you 3.you probably have too much self esteem to ask for continious flattering from others.
4.You trust your judgement too much! Bad people won't be able to persuade you with their prayers! ;)
BTW I'm not bashing God here :) ...I think he does exist...but he is nothing like what these man made religion portray him as...and he's either laughing at us or very disspointed to see how we are wasting the resources he gave us...a heart to love and a mind to think!
