Hawaii is Paradise...yes it really is that. Everything you think it is you can find there. However you need to know where to look and be aware of it's short comings too.

All the Islands are different, it would help to know what you are looking for. Some areas are over run by tourists, but much of it isn't. The people are friendly and giving, however until they know you they will treat you as what you are...an outsider.

I have been to the four main Islands of Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. Many of them numerous times. Message me if you want specific information.

I use to live in Hawaii and loved it. I consider it the best working vacation I ever had for two years. There is much to see and do and as mentioned previously there are short comings too. The most notable is cost of every day items. Most things are shipped or flown in and subsequently costs are higher for everything. When I lived there 10 years ago the 99 cent Whopper was $2.99 and gas was $1.55 THEN.

All that aside you can have a wonderful time there and if you look around you can find some really good deals too. GO to the flea market at Oahu Stadium on Wednesdays or Saturdays. It is a lot of fun not mention an abundance of inexpensive clothes and souvenirs.

Hawaii is niiiiice. I've been to Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. It's expensive, picturesque. You just gotta go and see for yourself.
