You can tell him the truth or just go with the flow.

Most guys prefer girls who haven't been around the block so I'm not sure why you would lie about it.

I'd personally prefer to know that you've had sex with less people.

Hey Mee!
You should never have to lie about something like that. That is an insecurity you have with yourself that you need to figure out. Also, you need to ask yourself why you felt the need to tell him that lie; do you think he would have thought less of you? Do you think he was expecting you to be experienced & would have left you if you were not? In my experience, a gal who's got LESS experience is often a rare prize guys are happy to get! There's less a chance of disease, and more chance of the girl thinking HE is the BEST in bed EVER when she doesnt have as many guys to comapre him to! :D I would be honest with him. If he's a good guy, he'll probably be flattered you told him the lil white lie & hhopefully reassure you that it doesnt matter HOW many guys you have slept with, just so long as you were safe when you did & that now you are ready to put the other guy(s) behind you & focus 100% on him! Best of luck!

First, I don't think lying is a good thing.

Second, I don't think your boyfriend will just "find out." If you're concerned about being awkward or not knowing what to do, he could just assume you're a little nervous about having sex with *him*.

And why should you not tell him the truth...Do you want to sound experienced in having sex or were you just bragging about nothing.

tell him the truth, and why would you have to lie about it, sounds like you just said if for him to like you more, and maybe you should really think it over about having sex with him

You have to be honest with him. You can't build a relationship based on a lie. If he means a lot, you will be open and honest. If he doesn't mean a lot to you, then you should sleep with him at all.

Hey you are a woman...you are supposed to lie, and cheat, and lie down with numerous men.

He may like the fact that you've only been with one guy and if he doesn't he's not the one. But you should be honest anyway.

P.S. You don't have to sleep with him either :)

he'll probably like the fact that you haven't gone around the neighborhood. tell him the truth saying that you were nervous about him knowing the truth.
