what if this surge tactic actually was working, there have been reports that Curfew has been lengthened to 10 from 8 in Baghdad, so maybe we should just tell conservatives hey you got it all under control now so what's the problem with Bush signing the troop funding legislation, hey you're plan finally worked, great, now we acheived that let's bring our folks home, here's the money to redeploy and it looks like everybody get's thier wish the Iraqi's get rid of the "occupiers" as I've seen them call us, Mr Bush gets to claim victory, we get our troops out of harms way in this fools game and then we can finally get down to the business of securing our country, developing a more comprehensive strategy for fighting terrorism and we can begin to really work on the domestic issues that have been ignored under this administration

ahhhh to dream! Just my opinion, but I don't see W. backing down anytime soon...that would mean he'd have to choke on his own pride instead of a pretzel.

I'd rather they pick a decent candidate and have an election that could go either way then Bachmann be nominated, even if it means Obama wins by the biggest landslide since 1984.

from what i have heard, the surge in baghdad has just caused the bad guys to leave that city and blow up other cities.

i don't see this as success...

bush has already said that he doesn't care what happens.

he won't bring the troops home while he is president.
