There are several things going on here. Since neither of you got beyond the friendship, maybe she figured that you were only interested in friendship. I think I would just cool it now and see how things go. If you see her, just smile and be your nice friendly self. It is possible that at some point things won't work out with the long distance guy and she may realize you are a great guy. In the meanwhile, find friends to run around with and if you find someone you would like to date, go for it. Only time will tell.

well you guys are close friends. maybe she has the whole goo gaa feeling for her bf right now, and is just thinking about him constantly. i dont think that you were being used, i think that you were a friend for her in a time of need. and will still be there. just because someone doesnt always tell you everything or is just talking to you all the time, still be there for her. cause she might need you in a hard time and you can be there for her. being a friend in a time of need is good. just be there for her....
