This is so old it is not even funny.... I have always wondered why Christian's yell O my god because according to your religion your not suppose to have sex till married " Thou shall not commit adultery" besides the men who has sex is declared unclean in catholicism because the pope has to be a virgin and priest have to be virgin too so why would you yell O My God doing something your God condemns in the first place?

Actually, a religious person should not say "Oh God"; that is taking the Lord's name in vein and that is a SIN!!!
An atheist would ironically be more likely to shout out "Oh God" at orgasm.

Various indecipherable exclamations usually suffice for me!
Had a couple I once worked around who kept prosletyzing to me. Once, we were talking about the Northwest (Seattle area). I made the mistake of referring to it as "god's country". They jumped on me like a chicken on a Junebug! I didn't specify a god and it is common vernacular. But, that was, in their immature viewpoint, enough to deny that I am, indeed, an atheist.
Your assertion is no different.

You know, i always wondered why Christians yelled that. Are they begging him for forgiveness because they are fornicating? Or are they being blasphemous by calling out his name why they are sinning and disgracing his name.
