Guys: When does "playing hard to get" end?

I sent my bf of a year a text at work today-to check his e.mail and the e.mail was basically a "love you" msg...is this desperate? when does the hard-to-get business end? is calling him ok? when should I play it cool?

You're doing just fine. Playing hard to get ends the moment you're comfortable telling him "i love you" stuff - by whatever means. If you don't feel awkward about it, do it....nevermind what conventions say. You're cool!

You have been with him a whole year and he is still playing games with you. I think your bf is a player why else would he be playing hard to get.You need to play yourself maybe that will get him jealous enough to want to comment to you,and I would not call him until he calls you first.If you want to find out how he really feels about you don't call.
