It's not. That's the great thing about a Naturalistic world-view... We're basically in a WYSIWYG Universe with hardly anything hidden (sub-atomics, radiation, etc.) *Truth* is either evident, or measurable by science or technology.

Things hidden in other belief systems just don't exist - there's no gnomes, no faeries, no gods, no hells... none of that.

Well the best way to sum this up is to take a look at life in general. As many here have already said often the truth is right in front of us. Then you have those who pray for truth to be revealed to them from a divine source. I won't argue with either as I always find both to be pretty enlightening.

But in answer to the question, truth is merely a concept, there is always an element of the unknown. Even in psychology the idea that there is a hidden self that we never see or understand but is visable to others who know us ushers in ideas of self defeat.

Truth is simple, if you want to know something, explore it, understand it and most of all experience it.
