i need to know. i want to send a letter to a friend and i need her area code.

01227 ... for telephone, but if you mean post code, then CTxx xxx.

Best place to go to check her postcode is the attached website - you can enter her address and it will bring up the exact post code. It is free but you are limited to 12 searches per day.

CT1 or CT2 there will also be three following letters though that depend on the address CT6 is Herne Bay Kent not Canterbury Use the link posted above.

Do you mean Zip Code? A Zip Code is the five digit number that you see on an envelope after the state. Like: Lexington, Kentucky 40509. 40509 would be a Zip Code of Lexington, Kentucky. An Area Code is the prefix of a phone number like (502)-555-4210 or (859)-555-4210. 502 and 859 is the Area Codes for those numbers. I think the Zip Code of Canterbury, Kent is CT2 7NU but I'm not positive about that. I hope this helps you! Good luck!

The first part is CT1 or CT2. The second part depends on where she lives exactly. Hope this helps anyway..

You need to use the postcode, it's the UK equivalent of a zipcode. You can find it online here http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/postcodefinder but you need to know the house number and street name.
