I know he is feeling a lot. He does this while his eyes are watering. So when I just read copying is a form of control I was very surprised.

Flirting? May be trying to communicate his interest in you. Wants you to do the same if you have same interest.

I am surpised it is a form of control too! reminds me of jason in halloween . he had no feelings and had to inmitate.. to pretend he was feeling normal. i think it is a syndrome myself. i had a bf who done same thing. if i said i love u he would if i talked a certain way he would too. he mimicked me wot ever i liked he liked same way he wanted to be almost me in all the ways i was. scary and yet a compliment. odd .. he could have issues ..

its like cow says...mimicking is a sort of flattery when it comes to the opposite sex..means there into you basically.
