And all those others who burn our nation's flag and side with the enemy?

If we want others to be tolerant of our viewpoints, then we have to show tolerance toward the viewpoints of others.

However, having said that, I turn the channel when Rosie O'Donnell comes on. She has the right to speak her mind, but I personally find her abrasive and annoying. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. So I exercise my right to watch something else.

You need to focus on other things than talking heads like Rosie and flag burning.

Read more credible sources. Don't listen or give creedence to mere celebrities.

Flag burning is a legal form of protest. Not the most effective in my opinion, but equal under the law...just like pinhead members of the KKK or Nazi party. It's called freedom. That's what we're about. Nobody said it was easy.

People like Rosie O'Donnell, Jerry Springer, Donald Trump, Allen Dershawits, and that longhaired radio slimebag, are put here as a test. What the point of the test is I can't figure out, but I know I'm failing it!

That is the joy of living in a free country. You get blabber mouths who feel because of their celebrity status that they can say what ever is in their minds whether it hurts others or not. Good people should have the same right to speak out against cruel or slanderous statements. Freedom of speech works both ways. To those who use it to defame others and for those who speak out against this kind of blathering.

Haha!! I know a lot of "good people" and they can't stand Rosie O'Donnell. I think we don't have the right to harm them in any way, but we certainly don't have to like them.

Hmmm. I don't recall a credible report of her burning a flag! To which enemy are you referring? Perhaps all the innocent Iraqis that have been killed by, well, everyone since we invaded Iraq to give Shrub a rush of power? Perhaps Donald, who seems to think he is a god?

What enemy is it? Pin it down for us, will you? Then explain to us how Rosie "sides" with them.

I'm not really inclined to like her all that much but she is a person like everyone else and she should be treated with dignity and respect. The same way I would expect to be treated. That's how good people treat others. It's what makes us good.

Thought the enemy was "Terror". Are we now so brittle and so paranoid that burning a piece of cloth can be said to spread "terror" in our hearts?

The point about freedom of expression is to be big enough to allow your opponents to speak, and brave enough to win the argument, so yep, 'fraid so, Rosie stays.

Yes. the only ones we should not tolerate is our fellow brother in Christ that openly sins and continues to do so in our midst. We are to cast him out and not even eat with him or associate with him. That way he is to understand his ways are perverse and repent. Then we are to accept him back in. At one point in time we all needed God's tolerance and others. It is better to give mercy than judgment.

No, dawg. Good people change the channel and wouldn't be home anyway at that time cause they'd rather scrape bat shite off cave walls than watch her. Bless her heart.
