If you are as old as I am it appears that they ARE being ignored.

I guess all older generations wonder what this world is coming to, but honestly I just can't get comfortable with the moral standards of today. STD's are not something to 'take in stride' and go ahead and have fun! Living as companions is not a commitment. "My baby's daddy' is not stable relationship.

I know I'm old fashioned, but I still know what commitment means.

sorry for the soapbox jag. I'll hop off now.

Which morals? Whose? And who is ignoring them?

I suspect you're an angry little man who's trying to set up a fallacious argument that the Bible is the source of all morals, and the US is immoral because we don't all follow the Bible.
