Kazikstan. I heard it is nice this time of year. Seriously though, I would say Eastern Europe. I've got family in Britain that say former Soviet republics are very nice to go visit and it is ridiculously cheap to live very well there.

The south has a lower cost of living. One would need to find a cheap apartment and really budget what they bought to eat. They might consider not using an air conditioner in the summer only fans, they might consider growing some veggies in pots to help with the cost, eating out would not likely be an option. I lived in Kentucky on that amount and had 2 children so I know it can be done.

2/3's of the world outside of the USA makes less than 10,000 per year. This horrible country we keep hearing about would never pay anyone that low of wages. We would have government housing for them and a free education at votech to train them for a better job. Food stamps and suppliments from the state. Then when we retire we get social security and medicare. When they can't work any longer their children support them or they starve to death.
For all of you to hate the USA please move.

Its not where you live but what job is actually paying you only 10,000 a year. Even babysitting can make more money than that a year. Need to find a job that pays.

I will live in Bali, Indonesia or Pattaya, Thailand. Most likely I still could save up to $150/month, too, and still live very comfy!

Inside a Dodge Ram Full-Sized Conversion van... One with those back seats that fold-down into a bed! They're awesome! I'm slept in one on a vacation, once!
