The last time I spoke to the North Pole I found it to have considerable latitude. It was not judgmental and was open to discussion in all topics that came up with the exception of the one on the other side of the earth. It this regard they are poles apart.

Plants do not grow in north pole or in south pole. In north pole there is no soil, and both in north and south pole climatic conditions are too hostile to support vegetation.
