RUN! Turn your back, pack your things, get them OUT of that residence, and LEAVE. NOW .. while you are STILL ALIVE !!!!!!

NEVER, ever go back. One time being assaulted is TOO MUCH.

Some people believe that everyone deserves a second chance...YOu know the saying, Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me! It really all depends on how long you've been with this person and how much you have invested in the relationship, it will be hard to make a decision of leaving but better now then when you're black and blue or worse, broken arm or leg or something. If you feel this person deserves another chance, take that chance, there may be hope, people can change! Just be careful. Good luck!

This is a usually a bad sign of worse things to come. I would run as fast as you can from this person. Getting drunk is no excuse to loose yourself control. The only way you might have any luck is to go to anger management therapy, together. If your mate hits you again, call the police and file Domestic Battery Charges & them really get out of the relationship.

Good Luck

My advice to you would be to get out of the relationship as fast as you can.you are a human being and you do not deserved to be beat up on whether your mate is drunk or not.Besides if he continues to get drunk alot his forms of attacks might get worse.

Hmmm.. its quite difficult to say if there's hope or not..
But giving the party another chance is not wrong either.. U may give but all to an extend..
U are not married and this happends.. Wat if u are married? So see if it does happends the 2nd time... If yes... its for ur good that u leave..

No hope. Sadly, this person has no control and all it takes is another situation that prompts this reaction. You will never know when and where. Is that any way to live?

Maybe so. I had a girl i used to live with do that to me....She punched me in my face, and SAID she was sorry...BUT she did not say she would NOT hit me again.....Which I assumed she would not, since she apologized, but think again.....I suffered mentally and physically.....Maybe they may change, it's totally up to them, BUT YOU need to get someone to help you, ok???

I were you, I would not keep him in my life. Been there. No second chances.
