There are different traditions, but I visited a site in Jerusalem called Gordon's Golgotha, which has a rock structure that looks eerily like a skull. (Golgotha means place of a skull)
Check out these Yahoo images and see if you can make out the skull in the rock formation.
(I personally believe this was the site of crucifixion and the nearby tomb the place of burial)

Peace to you.

Jesus was Crucified on Mount Golgotha which means The Place of the Skull. "Calvary" comes from a Latin word that has the same meaning. Crucifixions were done outside of Jerusalem.
The side of the hill looks like a skull.
My Pastor went to Jerusalem a few years back, He has a picture of the hill and you can plainly see the image of a skull.
I'm not sure what's on the hill.
I'm sure you can find some pictures on the Internet.

Jesus was crucified on Golgotha just outside of Jerusalem. I don't know about the looks of the place. Maybe you can look it up on the map..

Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem, Israel.
You can still visit the site, there's a huge church there.

Since I wasn't there at the time, and there are no accurate maps showing the site you are speaking of, there are calculated assumptions that would bring it to the close proximity of where Christ Jesus was crucified. Unfortunately, religion has to mess up everything, so one of them built a church over the site, and charges people to go see it. No respect for history or for the Man who died to set us free so we can live eternally. It's so sad what some religions do to make money - even use Jesus for their gain.

Golgotha, which is, "the place of a skull." A rock cliff west of Herod’s Gate and just beyond the Old City of Jerusalem’s northern wall, overlooking the garden tomb.

He was crucified outside the wall of Jerusalem.
The walls were moved several times so no one knows the exact spot.
