Question

Most of you appear to be in the wrong catagory, is it that you dont understand? or are you truly searching for religion but embarrassed? Try lost and found?

I'm here in this category because I'm interested in theology, as well as in a wide variety of philosophical viewpoints. I like learning about viewpoints different from my own. Also, it's occasionally amusing. And why are you here?

In the course of the evening, I usually find two or three people I can tune right into and help a lot. I really enjoy doing that, because some people take very well to being helped over the rought spots. I also enjoy some of the questions and answers that other people toss around. This particular website is precisely what you bring to it. If you bring nothing, it is worth nothing. If you bring everything you have got inside you, that is what you take away with you after you help someone. People write and thank me, and it is very gratifying. It means a lot to me to know that my words have registered in someone's psyche and made his life easier.

But, also, I try to educate people and make them think outside the box and to help them realize they can search out answers other than those of religion and the Christian myth.

I am here because I believe in spirits like Jesus and God and the HolySpirit. I keep having to read numerous annoying, witless, hateful, uneducated comments, made by people who do not believe in spirits. I keep going back to check the topic, but it says religion and spirituality each time. They must be genuinely unhappy with their life. They are looking for answers. Let us pray that they find God. I have respect for the other believers of different spirits. It is interesting to hear their ideas, even if I disagree. At least they have beliefs. I urge those with no beliefs to rethink your position. Open the door and look around.

God has the Power to use this site to spread the Gospel by believers sharing scriptures that relate to the subject of almost any question. The Holy Spirit can break the bonds of sin and set them free of guilt and sin.
It is our duty to lift up Jesus Christ's Holy Name.
For there is no other name given among men by which we may be saved.

It is amazing to read what people know about your religion..and how much you know about theirs...though i have seen most answers just try and ridicule afew faiths...with silly answeres but it just goes to show the lack of knowledge...but being here i have learnt soo much..about other religions and their beliefs..so...i dont think i am lost...but surely i must have found alot :P

There are more thoughts about religion and spirituality out there in the world than yours. This is why it's called a generalized term like "religion and spirituality" rather than "people who agree with Yvonne about religion." Put your big-girl panties on and deal with it, honey.

Im here to criticize and debate with you. Im learning from everyones perspective. Dont you see all the different ideas in the answers, I basically learn from them.
I assume your talking about atheism, its about God 's existence so I believe Im in the right place.
