Possibly, but looks fade or change over time. If you're in it for the long run, there has to be an attraction factor other than the loving someone strictly out of appearance.

Well, yeah. Just cause a guy (in my case) is hot doesn't mean he's got a good personality. Which means that I'd still be physically attracted but would never date him or whatever. Yes, it definitely goes a long way.

Yes it can happen that you are attracted to a person's looks but hate their personality and usually in this situation you would try to avoid, if possible, an in-depth relationship with such a person. I would also think that it is not likely that you would consider this person as a prospective mate.

Absolutely, that's the first thing you notice. But it fades fast if the personality is terrible. Once in awhile you will find two good looking people that both have dirt ball personality's, in that case they might have something in common with each other and get along just great.

That's usually the first thing someone notices, is your looks. Then, after they get to know you, they can decide rather they like your personality or not. If a guy is fine looking but has a lousy personality, then we'll just have to keep it on a friendship level.

Yes but it wouldn't be enough to sustain a real relationship. It may cause the other person to be attracted to you, or it may be seen as shallow and superficial and actually be a turn off.

Of course. There are a lot of guys and girls out there who are good looking but have awful personalities. Unless you're completely shallow, a relationship won't work unless you like the other person's personality.

You can be completely attracted to somone's looks but that kind of superficial relationship never lasts.
