It's not wrong.

What are the reasons that it is right?

Just because someone says it is? Or behaves in a certain way?

People out there think it's fine to kill. Does that mean we should too, just because someone engages in that type of behavior?

Homosexuality is a complicated issue - one that is not probably just based on genes. Although it is an easy argument to claim that they are born that way. A co-op, like saying you abuse children because you can't help it. A lot of factors went into making you a child abuser - but in the end you still had a choice. (Note, I'm not saying in any way homosexuals are child abusers - just giving an example).

It goes against the natural order of life in general. Animals have not be proven to have homosexual tendencies. We try to make it look like they do - but in reality, we do not know their motivations or if what they are even engaging in is meant to be overtly sexual or more dominance.

So what are the reasons why it is right?

I like your use of the word 'wrong'. Who determines what is wrong and what is right? I recall reading this statement from a famous statesman/philosopher (can't remember his name now) :"Nothing is right or wrong but thinking makes it so". According to this, rape, infanticide, patricide, etc are all correct if the society to which you belong thinks it is right.

Now, if you had asked why is homosexuality a 'sin', THAT would have been a much easier question to answer.

In the Bible, God forbids homosexuality multiple times. But, those who say gays are an abomination are taking scripture out of context. What they do is. Any sex outside a monogamous marriage is strictly forbidden, because for one, it ruins the symbol that marriage creates for our relationship wuth Christ, and also because it is damaging to us. STD's are so wide-spread due to the explosion of sex outside of marriage, be it be before, during(with someone other than one's spouse) or (sadly) after. Not only are STD's so widespread, but broken homes, lives, families, and hearts. I was born out of wedlock, and it is hard, on both me and my half-sister. Homosexuality is a choice; however the temptation is not. As Martin Luther said, "You can't prevent the birds from flying over your head. But you can keep them from building a nest in your hair." In other words, it is not one's fault that they have such temptations, but it is if they act on it. First, you hear, then dwell, then believe, then act upon the lies that Satan throws, his fiery darts. James 1:12-16

The most obvious ...how could it not harm a man to suffer rectal trauma because a large object has been repeatedly forced into an opening which was designed for a radically different function?

Lesbian sex is no picnic either; the rate of syphilis among women who practice homosexual acts is nineteen times higher than the rate among women who don't.

Well, there you go. The bible says it's wrong. Right next to the part about not eating shrimp, both of which are apparently abominations. So lay off the shrimp and the gay sex.

Or do whatever you want with any other number and sex of consentual adults, because there is no god.

Homosexuals are extremely promiscuous and that spreads disease. If you believe in Darwinian evolution they do not reproduce they are a waste of DNA.

I dont think it is 'not right'. I think if it pleases you, adds to you being a good person, your not hurting anyone by your actions then how could it be wrong?

It is only truly wrong if you live thinking it is..... no one elses opinion counts.

"Because being a Christian I cannot form an original thought to save my life, so I will simply follow what everyone else has told me and plagiarize vaguely interpreted bible scripture and pass it off as truth!"

It doesn't affect me or any of you in any way, so why is someone else's happiness a bad thing? I'm surprised I haven't read something about "catching the gay disease" from the fundies!

And man created the bible!!! It is a biased book. Don't let others ditate who you are.People are dying everyday in Iraq and they belong to Islam, just different sects. Religion is more scary to me than one's sexuality.

None. Mutually consenting relationships between adults are to be enjoyed, regardless of how some religions want to "demonize" them.

Love is a beautiful thing, and hard enough to find as it is.
